RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1 The decision of the Committee shall be final m deciding all points m connection with the carrying out of this programme. 2 Three competitors to start or no event four to start or no third prize. 3 All competitors muet be on the mark at the appointed time for eaoh event, and anyone not answering the Judge's or Starter's call may be disqualified. 4 The Committee reserve the right to require any competitor, before or after the event, to make a declaration aB to his identity, or the correctness of his performances. 5 Aoy race may beru" off m heats, at the discretion of the Committte. All hundred yards races will be run between tapes. 6 Competitors leaving their marks before the pistol is fired will be. put back one yard for each offence ; " snap cap" no etart ; and anyone not going back when required may be disqualified, at the discretion of the Starter. 7 Any competitor found jostling will be immediately disqualified. 8 St Patrick's Grand Handicap will be decided by points— first, 5 points; Eecond, 3 points ; third, 2 points. 9 All protests must be made within thirty minutes, and must be aooompanied with a deposit of 20s, which will be forfeited if the protest be not sustained. 10 No persons but the competitors and the Committee will be allowed into the ring. 11 Nominations, with money enclosed, for St Patrick's Grand Handicap, One Mile Handicap, and Half-mile Handicap will be received by the Seoretary at the Sohoolroom, Maxwell Boad, until 9 pm on Thursday, February 22nd. Nominations for Bioycle Race on Maroh 14. P.O.
