Present ; His Excellency the Governor m Council. WHEREAS under the provisions of "The Rabbit Nuisance Act 1882, Amendment Act, 1886" (hereinafter termed " the said Act"}, the Chief Inspector of the Bheep district within which the Awatere Rabbit District is included, has reported to the Governor that the Board of the said rabbit district is not taking the necessary steps [to secure the destruction of rabbits m such district] : And whereas it appears expedient to make provision m manner hereinafter set forth : Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, m pursuance and exercise of the power conferred by section 81 of the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him m this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, dotn hereby order and declare that on and after the thirteenth day of July instant, the provisions of Fart 11. of the said Act shall cease to be m operation m that part of the colony known as the Awatere Babbit District.
