i UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION .] Bathurst, July 28. There was a good attendance at the match New Zealand v. Western districts. In the first half of the game the visitors had it mostly their own way, and the local men were only once m their ground, bat they made good use of their opportunity and scored a try from which a goal was kicked. The rest of the time they were mostly busy defending their lines. Murray, Oliphant, and Jervis secured tries from which Jervis kicked one goal. In the second ipel! the New Zealanders had it all their own way, and three more tries were obtained by Bayley, Butland and Shannon, from which Buckland kicked two more goals, making the score 24 to 5. Colquhoun made one good attempt to pot but that was the only approach to score by the local men, wbile the ball was repeatedly dangerously near their line, and more than one of the New Zealanders nearly got over.
