Blackham 42, and Trumble not out 61 wars the highest ' scorers. Lyon, Giffen, Bannerman, and Gregory were all dismissed without sooring, and the first five wiokefca fell with only 26 runs on the sheet. Hearne's bowling was almost unplayable, and he took three wickets for 5 tuns. Middlesex were all disposed of for 78 runs m the first innings.
