BRITISH DEMANDS.
Beceived July 22, noon. Capetown, July 21. The disturbance m Mashonland has been oausad by a few Matabeles, under Lobengula, who have slipped out of his control. Fort Victoria is well provided with stores and Gatling gems. Sir H. Loch has requested Lobengula io recall the impi and punish the Indaras, who are responsible for the action of the natives. He expects the order will be complied with, and does not anticipate any danger to the settlement, which is proteoted by four hundred European*. The latest reports cay that the Matabeles have retired.
