I .. €*. . AFFAIRS AT BROKEN HILL. (UNITED SRES3 ASSOCIATION.} Received November 12, 1 am Sydnet, Novembor 11. The Broken Hill Defence Committee are besiegad with applications for relief. Various Unionist bodies m the colonies have promised to render finanoial assistance. Mine owners have declined to meet representatives of the men at a conference, aa they do not see any good purpose will be served by such a gathering.
