THE DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB.

Dunedin, October 15. The D.J.C to-night decided to pay the Totalisator Tax out of the usual ten per cent commission. The Hon J. McLean, H. Driver, and J. Haslett, were appointed delegates to the Metropolitan Clubs Conference, and instructed to oppose the creation of a N.Z. Jockey Club, and also instructed to bring before the conference the fact of the resolutions passed at the last meeting being published as the Rules of Racing, and being submitted to several Metropolitan Clubs. Christohurch, October 16. Fraternite was scratched at 3.5. p.m. today for all engagements at the C.J.C. Metropolitan meeting.
