PRESS COMMENTS. , Received October 9, 1030 a.m. ( London, October 8. < The doctors certify that Parnell's death ] vas due to rheumatic fever and the failure ] >f the heart's action, and m this opinion < Mrs Parnell agrees. His family deny i micide. The doctors decline to speak on 1 ;he subject. James O'Kelly, after viewing the body, \ leclared that it appeared aa if he had died ; from natural causes. ' ! Mr Parnell's last appearance m public was at Cregge, and while there he stood three hours m the rain. The people of Cork exhibited but little outward regret, but m Dublin the shock was very acute. Parnell left no political directions. The news of his death caused a profound sensation m America, where the Press comments are of a generous nature, even among those hostile to him. There was an immediate revulsion of feeling. The belief is gaining ground m England, United ' States, and the Continent, that with Parnell's death the division of the Irish Party will cease. Speculation as to the political effect of his decease overrides expressions of regret. In England, the Time 3 considers that the highest evidenc3 of Parn'ell's intellectual ability lies m the fact that' he inspired actual enthusiasm though his personal character was so repellant. The Standarl says that he died at a moment most favorable to his reputation, and that hi 3 death will revive the fond fidelity of the past. It expects an early division of the party. Member 3of the Parnellite Party are arranging for a public funeral m Dublin.
