George Thomas & Co. report wholesale produce prices as follows : — There are no changes to note since last week. Potatoes still remain heavily overstocked at low rates. We quote— Roller flonr, £12 to £12 15s ; stone do. £11 to £11 os ; pollard, 90s ; bran 8O3 ; whole fowls' wheat, scarce, 3s 9d to 4s ; broken do. 3s to 3s 3d ; prime short oat 3, Is lid to 2s ; Jong feed, Is 9d to Is 10|d ; oatmeal, £9 10s ; oaten sbeaf chaff, £3 10s ; straw do. £3 15s ; maize, 3s 6d ; beans, 3s 6d ; peas, 33 6d to 3s 9d ; feed barley, 2s 3d to 2s 6d ; pearl barley, £15 ; split peas, £14 ; carrots, 355 ; potatoes, 40s to 455 ; onions, £5 10s, bacon and hams, 6|d ; cheese, 4£d ; honey, 4d to 4£d ; fresh butter, 8d to B|d for- prime quality; salt Jbutter, 6d to 7d por 1b ; eggs, scarce at Is 9d to Is .10d per dozen. Poultry is very unsaleable, and fowls are selling at 2s 3d 23 6d ; geese, ss ; ducks 3s 6d ; turkey, 6s per pair. The fruit market is fairly supplied ; oranges, lemons and pines are m good demand, while the enquiries for apples and pears are considerable.
