WRECK OE A VESSEL.

[united pbess association.] Auckland, April 27. News has been received here from Home stating that Capt. Gregory Morris of Auckland was compelled to abandon the English barquentine Indiana off Scilly m a gale, sinking, while bound from London to New Zealand via South Africa (March 18). The vessel was a total loss. Sue is insured at Home. Capt. Morris and Mr Carlaw of Auckland were owners, and had recently purchased the vessel. All hands were saved.
