THE MEAT FREEZING QUESTION.

■ ■ » > TO THE EDITOB. Sir, — I, m common with Mr Barleyman "and many others, who look forward to the frozen mutton trade as likely to be the salvation of Marlborough, feel surprised that he should be bluffed by R{r Holmes m obtaining the information he, as a shareholder m the Marlborough Freezing Company, is justly entitled to. As Mr Bafleyman cannot get the information personally , I would suggest that he avail himself of the power vested, m shareholders under^ the Companies Act, by which, on the written request of a certain proportion of shareholders, they can demand the Directors to convene aa extraordinary meeting. This of course they cannot refuse.— l am, &c, Weipeb.
