STREET NOMENCLATURE.
TO THE EDITOB. ■ Sir,—l notice the Borough Council have been very busy lately enforcing the various bye-laws, therefore I would like to draw their attention to the great omission and inconvenience caused by not having the names of the many roads and streets placed at the corner of each. I-am sure this would prove a great convenience to many, as numbers of even the old residents cannot tell you the exact names, or locality, of many of them and it must prove a source of inconvenience to strangers coming into such a straggling town as Blenheim. I would also draw their attention to the danger, particularly at night-time, caused by the many broken wires hanging over the footpaths. —l am, &c, Citizen. Blenheim, September 11,1890.
