TEE ONLY REMEDY yet disoovered that will effeotually oars Soaly and other Blights that infest gardens and orchards, without injuring the tree m the slightest degree. The Speoifio should be applied to Apples Peara, Flams, Currants, Quiok Hedges, and all trees having Codlin Moth, Soaly or American Blight, daring the winter months — (from May Ist to Sept. 15th). The Patent Speoifio is a thorough cure for the Leeoh that attacks Pears, Flams, Cherries, and Quiok Hedges m the month of January. During the last year the manufacturer has made numerous experiments with the Oodlin Moth, and has obtained most satisfactory reenlts. The maggot, whioh is secreted m crevices of the bark during the winter season, is mainly destroyed by the winter dressing, but it will be found necessary to spray the young fruit early m November, this being the time that the Moth deposits its ova. By so doing the orop of fruit will be scoured. (By attending to this, all delay will be obviated) Spray the tree until every part is thoroughly saturated. In a few days all blight will be found quite dead. Winter months best time to apply, from May Ist to September 15th. Two days before planting spring crops, the ground should be well sprayed with the Specific, By so doing, all slugs and other pests will be destroyed. For this, mix One Gallon of the Specific with Twenty-five Gallons of wascr.
