I showed them to His Excellenoy the Governor, who was much struck with them, and remarked on the contrast between the picture of himself printed m the Matt-Opal- Type and the same picture printed m the ordinary way.' .; The Wangandi Herald, 3rd December. 1889:— "We have received from Messrs Wrigglesworth & Binns, of Wellington, who are undoubtedly the best photographers m the colony, samples of their production by a new process, patented, v?e believe, by them, known as the Matt-Opal-Type. The pictures are m every respect works of art, for m this, as m all their work, Messrs Wrigglesworth & Binns have achieved the greatest success," &c, &c. The Marlbobobgh Expbbss, 27th Nov., 1889 :— •• We have no hesitation m saying that the Matt-Opal-Type will revolutionise photography, and be universally adopted. In fact, one could never endure looking at a glazed picture after seeing these."
