The BtrcKESB secured the gold medal and special mention at the Melbourne Exhibition, the judges stating m their report that, "Its construction was a special' study for every intelligent mechanic." ■ The Buckeye Lowdown was awarded first prize at Jamestown, South Australia, the judges giving a /special certificate, stating " In our opinion this machine is undoubtedly the machine of the future.' ' The Buckeye Elevator won the great Romsey Field Trial, beating the Hornsby M'Cormick, Brandford, Massey. The Buckeye Mower an Reaper won the first prize at Palmerston North Show. The Buckeye Lowdown will 1 cut and bind every acre of cultivatabie land m Otago ; no other machine can do this.
