Games to commence at 10.30 a.m. sharp. Events will be conducted and decided strictly m accordance with the Caledonian Soeicty's rules and conditions. Any competitor going off his mark before the firing of the pistol to be put back one yard ; three false starts to disqualify him for the event. Nominations for the Caledonian Handicaps and Nos 13, 16, and 21 to be made to the Secretary at the Criterion Hotel, on or before Monday, December 16th, at 8.30 p.m. ; all other entries to be made to the Secretary on the Sports ground. Handicaps for Caledonian Handicap and Nos 13, 16, and 21 will be declared at the Criterion Hotel on Saturday, December 21st. Acceptances for these handicaps to be m on or before Friday, December 27th, at 9 p.m. i Five starters m each event (bagpipe j competition excepted) or no third, four ' or no second, three or no first.
