HOLIDAY NOTICE.
Postal Branch.—The Post Office will be cloHed on Christmas Day <25th inst.), and New Year's Day (Ist January 1890.) Mails usually despatched on Wednesdays will be closed the preceding Tuesday, at 7 p.m., and there will be a delivery of letters from the counter between 7 and 8 o'clock that evening. On Boeing Day (36th inst), the Post Office will open from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Mails closing on Thursday will be closed at 10 a.m., and there ■will be one delivery of letters by carriers, •yiz., at 8 a.m. , . i. •.
