The meeting will be held under the Rules of the Marlborough Racing Club. ■ -Any person entering a protest will be required to deposit £2 2s, with same, and this sum will be forfeited if such protest be considered frivolous by the Stewards. District races will.be confined to horses owned within the Pelorus Ebad Board district, for more than three months prior to the date of entry. The decision of the Stewards upon all matters connected with the meeting shall be final, and nominations will only be received on this understanding. Charges for admission, will be as follows : — Adults Is, Horsemen 2s, Traps 2s. Five per cent will be deducted from all winnings to pay expenses. * ■ Colors : A colored sash or garment will be considered sufficient. Th'p minimum weight m handicap flat races will be 7st.
