Broome, Governor of Western Australia, has written a long letter io The Times, m which he argues that the Constitutional Bill passed by the Legislative Council of Western Australia is entirely misunderstood m England, and he expresses a hope that its immediate passage will not be prevented. The Daily News, referring to tb.6 ques-tion-of granting responsible government to Western Australia, declares that the bill drawn up by Lord Knutsf ord materially restricts the disposal of lands by that colony. _
