Victualling War Smr-s.— gomp yery tunny facts came, out the other day before the Committee on the Navy Estimates re the victualling of our war-ships abroad, lucre certainly does seem something wrong somewhere when the Australian squadron, whilst lying m Auckland harbor, receives large consignments of Nnw Zealand tinned me;its from London. Yet this, according to Mr W. R B. Yorke, director of victualling, is what . recently happened.
