MELBOURNE WOOL SALES. (renter's telegrams.) Mbiboubhe, October 26. Messrs Goldsborough and Co. (Limited) held Jheir usual weekly sale of ttool to- 1 day. The attendance waa large and com- 1 petition good, especially for light wools of good quality, greasy, bulky pieces, and good Jambs. There was a good demand for heavy wools, bat earthy wools are difficult to dispose of. The catalogue comprised 5000 bales, of which 1500 bales found purchasers. Greasy wool brought as much as lOd per Id, lambs wool 12£ d, and scoured wool Is 2d.
