DTRAINING NOTES.
(SPECIAL XO UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION.) Melbourne, Oct 27. The morning was dull and threatening. The New Zealand and Sydney horses are now all atFlemington, Silver Prince and Thunderbolt did a mile m very good style, but the former seemed rather Bore after his work. Escutcheon also did a mile. Tranter and Whakawai moved freely, and finished up well. Enfilade had a good working gallop of a mile and a half. Pakeha was sent once round fast. Algerian and Australian Peer covered a mile together at a rattling pace. Spade Guinea and Pasha went a fast mile and a quarter. Abercorn and Trident did some good work. Dunlop galloped over tbe Cup distance on tan. Frisco and Teddy Yuille did the best gallop of the morning once round m 2 mm 32 sees. .Received Oct 28, 1*35 a.m. Silver Prince's case is not so bad as at first anticipated. He hit himself m a gallop this, morning and pulled up decidedly groggy, but walked away all right.
