THE CRIMES BILL. SIR DRUMMOND WOLFF LEAVES CONSTANTINOPLE. THE BULGARIAN THRONE.
Received July 18, 12.25 p.m. London, July 16. In the House of Lords to-day the Irish primes Bill passed through committee without amendment. A meeting of the committee for the Melbourne Exhibition was held to-day under the presidency of Mr Childera. Delegates from Belgium attended, and conditions for the representation of that country were discussed and concurred m by the Belgian delegates. Constantinople, July 16. Sir Drummond Wolff has left this city for London. Vienna, July 16. Prince Ferdinand, replying to a depuration from Bulgaria which waited upon him and formally announced his election, expressed himself grateful for the choico of the Sobranje. He said he was anxious to haste to Bulgaria, but it #as necessary to respect the inter*, national treaties relating to that country. He added that he hoped to merit the confidence of tha Porte, and to regain the sympathies of Russia towards Bulgaria.
