THE STATE OF THE BRITISH NAVY.
Received March 11, 12*45 p.m. ; London, March 10. The Navy estirnates-*<"show a de« srease of £750,000 as compared with the previous year., Tho reduction has been rendered possible by economical reforms which bad been introduced by the Admiralty departments. The Navy, however, is now stronger than formerly, there having been an increase of eleven hundred officers and men. Naval constructions is now extremely active.
