An inquiry mftde by the P.ulcliers' AsHooiation shows that the diseased animal wan bought at the sale yards for 303. It was slaughtered at tho abbatoirs, formally condemned, then taken to the butcher's shop, and sold to the other butcher for 12s per cwt, The latter,, finding it unfit for consumption, returned it, when it was tent to the boiling-down, establishment. <
