It is also intended by the said Bill to take powcr3 to the said Company to contract with the said Corporation or with any person or persona therein for supplying gas, or letting meters to them or any of thorn, and to enter upon buildings fo ascertain the quantities ofj gaa consumed, and sue fir tho recovery of rents for gas snpplied, and to cut off and take away the: supply of gas, and to enter npon buildings to take away gnspipes on non-payment of snch rents, and to impose penalties for the wilful destruction of the Company's property.
