ALL-ENGLAND MATCH. London, July 0. The criclrot match waa resumed at Manchester to clay, the weather boing splendid. There w.is a large ■■ atfceridauco, and the greatest interest was taken m the contest. Tho Home team, with one wicket down, 36 runs np, continued their first innings with Seotion aud Shrewsbury, the " not outs" of yesterday. The former added 10 to his score, wheu he was caught (21). Read joined Shrewsbury and the runs came rapidly, the Surrey gentleman being m capital form, until a separation took place, when Shrewsbury had scorod 31 (bowled). Barton, who followed, continued with Bead and made a good stand against the Australian bowling, but the former was at length caught whon ho had put together an excellently played 51. Of the players who followed Ulyetfc and Lohman wore the most successful, tho Yorkshireraan contributing 17 (bowled), whilo tho Surrey professional scored 32 (caught). Barlow carried out his bat with 88, and tho innings closed for 223 runs, 18 ahead of tho Australians. Tho lattor went m tho socond time, and when stumps woro drawn for the day tho score stood at 55 with four wickots down, Scott being not out with 3G, Jones, caught, 12,
