St Leonards, by Talisman, out of Amuri ; Talisman by Traducer, out of Azucena ; Azuceiia by Towton, out of Meg Merrilies ; Meg Merrilies by St. George, out of Gipsy ; Amuri, by Skeleton, out of Lady Jane Grey ; Lady-^ane^-^--Grey, by St. Albans, out of Medoia Medora by Glendower (Arab), or Commissioner (Arab). St. Leonards is a black colt, stands 16 hands high. Bred by S. Nos worthy, Esq., Iticearton. For particulars see New Zealand Stud Book. St, Leonards got first prize at the Cbristchnroh Show, 1831, agairst all coiners. He took first and special prize at Lincoln, and first prize at Akaroa. In 1883 he also took second prize at Christchurch against all comers, and was <^ pronounced by good judges to be the best horse on the ground. Terms.— For thoroughbred mares, £?> 3a. Groomage, ss ; to be paid on first service. A liberal reduction, as per agreement, will be made if two or more mares, the bond fide property of 0110 person, are sent.
