Word has been received here from Kihikihi that Mr W Jl Hnson, native agent, haa stopped the Wpnganui prospectors go ; ig to Tuhua, nnd persuaded tha natives to go with the Thames men. Mr WilFnBon saya the Wangmr' party p-e not practicp 1 miners. The association here have communicated with the Government, compla-'ning of Mr W : 'kinson's interference, and stating that both the men pre wolj knowj to be practicr 1 i^d long-ex-perienced minerg.
