The Oriental Bank Corporation, which suspended payment on the .third inst., was compelled to adopt tliis course m consequence of the rapid and unexpected withdrawals of deposits' at its eastern branches. The examination which has been already made of the available assets shows thai the depositors will probably receive seventeen shillings and sixpence m the pound, and m "the meanwhile the liquidator will undertake the management of the Company's estates m the Mauritius,
