The satisfactory returns received n the Colony for sheep placed npon the KneKsh market clearly prove the great advantages derivable from the Freezing process, and establish the desirability of an effort being made to enable the inhabitants of Marl borongh to derive the fnll benefit from the export of Sheep ani Cattle and other Fro dnce from the district. Under present circumstances large shipments of sheep are being made to 'Welling ton, the owners receiving a sum of money about equal to the value of the skin, wool, and offal, the retmn from the English market being the profit of the purchasers. It is proposed to register tha Company as soon as a fair amount of the capital is subscribed, bnt before proceeding to any expenditure beyond the necessary expenses of forming the Company a general meeting of shareholders will be convened and a general plan of proposed operations sub mitted to such meeting. Applications for shares will be received at the offioe of Messrs Rogers and Barley man, Bank of New Zealand, the New Zea land Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (limited), or by any of the Provisional Directors.
