At the inquest to-day on the body of Mr Jo3eph Sanders, sen., who was found dead m the Harbor on Tuesday, a verdict m accordance with the medical evidence was returned, namely, that death resulted from drowning whilst suffering from an apoplectic fit. With reference to the statement published by a Marlborough paper, to the effeot that Mr Conolly was about to take the portfolio of Post and Telegraph, m addition that of Justice, Ministers state that the subject has never been discussed, muoh less decided ; but it is possible some rearrangement of portfolios may take plaoe after the holidays. The Supreme Court opened to-day, with the Criminal business, Charles Stratford, alias Coleman Phillips, alias George Webb, alais George Smith, alias George Lee, indicted for-stealing, wa3 found guilty, and sentenced to 6 years' hard labor. Detective Kirby has returned with Patrick Ryan, bis wife, and daughter, oharged with conspiracy to defraud their creditors.
