The homeward mails via Suez and Brindisi, which left Melbourne on November 9, were delivered "hereto-day. A fire broke out on board the ship Eangicikei, which recently arrived here from Lyttleton, on her homeward voyage. Part of the cargo had to.be thrown ovsr, and the remainder was much damaged.
