Anyone going off the mark before the pistol fires, to be put back one yard for each attempt. 4. No prize given unless two competitors start, no second unless three start, 5. Nomination for Trotting Race to be made immediately after running of Maiden Plate. 6. Starters in Handicap Hurdles, Wairan Plate, Flying Stakes, Sporting Handicap, or anyone erecting a booth on the course to pay a qualification fee of £l.
