NOTICE! Alteration of Telegraph Charges. NOTICE is hereby given that on and after the Ist APRIL, 1870, the following uniform Rate of Charges for Telegrams transmitted on the Line of the New Zealand Telegraph, will come into operation ; Ordinary Telegrams from any Station to any Station—For the first 10 words, Is. (one shilling) ; for every additional 5 words, or fraction of 5 words, 6d. (sixpence). Press Telegrams from any Station to any Station —For the first ten words, fid. (sixpence); for every additional 15 words, or fraction of 15 words 6d. (sixpence). No charge will be made for the signature, but it must in all cases be the usual signature of the person sending. InterProvincial steamers will only be reported to the Port for which they are immediately bound, and (on arrival) to the port from which they have immediately come.
