The sire of this animal is the celebrated pure Clydesdale Horse, “ Stirlingshire Jock,” imported from Scotland by W. Scott, Esq., of Sydney, N.S.W. “Young Stirlingshire Jock” is now rising five years old, stood the season in Nelson in 1867 for the first time, and proved himself a sure foal getter; he has an excellent temper, quite free from vice, and is a good worker. “Young Stirlingshire Jock " will be at Renwick every Thursday during the season, weather permitting.
