NOTICE is hereby given that the above named Henry Joseph McLeod Hawk did this day file in the said Supreme Court a declaration that he was unable to meet his engagements with his Creditors. In the matter of the Bankruptcy Act, 1867, the Bankruptcy Act Amendment Act, 1868; and in the matter of the Deed of Arrangement of Alexander Trindle Thompson and Allen Gulliver Divers, of Havelock, in the Province of Marlborough, Sawyers, trading under the style or firm of “Thompson and Divens.” NOTICE is hereby given that by Deed bearing date the 10th day of March, 1869, and made between Alexander Trindle Thompson and Allen Gulliver Divens, of Havelock, in the Province of Marlborough, Sawyers, carrying on business at Havelock aforesaid, as co-partners, under the style or firm of “ Thompson and Divens,” of the first part; John M‘lntosh, of the City of Nelson, in the Province of Nelson, Merchant, of the second part; and the several other persons whose names are thereunto subscribed, being Creditors of the said Alexander Trindle Thompson and Allen Gulliver Divens, of the third past: The said Alexander Trindle Thompson, and Allen Gulliver Divens, conveyed and assigned all their real and personal estate unto the said John MUntosh, his Heirs, Executors, Administrators, and Assigns, upon trust for the benefit of all the Creditors of Alexander Trindle Thompson and Allen Gulliver Divens : And Notice is hereby further given that the said Deed was duly executed by the said Alexander Trindle Thompson and Allen Gulliver Divens in the presence of, and is attested by Albert Pitt, of the City of Nelson, a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, and that the said Deed is also executed by the said Trustee : And Notice is hereby further given that the said Deed was duly filed at the Office of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, at Nelson, on Thursday, the 11th day of March, 1869.
