Bth, 1869, IT is notified for public information that his Honor the Superintendent has appointed Medical Officers to cany out the provisions of “The Vaccination Act, 1863,” in the Province ; due notice of the place within each district, and of the day and hour on which such officer will attend, will be given as soon as the Medical Officers have made the necessary arrangements. Parents are reminded that every child is, by “ The Vaccination Act, 1863,” required to be vaccinated within Six Calendar Months after its birth, and should they have any child between the age of Six Months and Twelve Years, not vaccinated, they are liable to a penalty not exceeding Forty Shillings. James Balfour Wemsys, Provincial Secretary. t _ I Education Notice. / IN accordance with the provisions of the Education Act, 1865, it is hereby notified that Monday, the Twenty-fifth day of January next, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., is fixed for the payment of the Household Rate of Twenty Shillings for the year ending 30th June, 1869, to be paid to the Schoolmaster, or such other person as may be duly authorised to receive the same, at the School House in each district, respectively, throughout the Province of Marlborough ; and notice is also given that legal proceedings will be taken for the recovery of any Rates not then paid. In the matter of the Bankruptcy Act, 1867; and in the matter of the Bankruptcy Act Amendment act, 1868; and in the matter of the Declaration of Insolvency of John McAllister, of Renwicktown, in the Province of Marlborough, and Colony of New Zealand, Hotel-keeper, a. bankrupt, NOTICE is hereby given, that an order bearing date the ninth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine, under the hand of Stephen Lunn Muller, Esquire, Deputy-Registrar of the said Court for the said Province of Marlborough, and under the seal of the said Supreme Court, the said John McAllister is adjudged a bankrupt; and a sitting is, by the said order, appointed to be held at the Council Chambers, in Blenheim aforesaid, on Tuesday, the 19th day of January, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine, at eleven o'clock in the forenoon precisely, at which sitting the bankrupt is required to eurrender and conform, and which sitting is by the- said order appointed to be a public meeting of creditors of the bankrupt, for Burh proceedings as may be taken under the Bankruptcy Act, 1867, and. the Bankruptcy Act Amendment Act, 1868, or either of the said Acts.
