Stocks of all kinds are in good supply. The trade with the West Coast is quiet, but gold is being got in very satisfactory quantity, as is shown by the fact of some. 20,000 ounces (£77,000 worth) having been exported from Greymouth and Hokitika—in addition to the Westport export—within five days.
