WARDEN’S COURT, HAVELOCK.

— 7 January 24, 1868. - (Before G. L. Mellisii, Esq., R.M., Warden.) Charles Diamente applied for a grant of land situate at the township of Deep Creek for a residence area in accordance with the Gold-field Regulations. It seems complainant was in the kitchen of " the Cafe de Pans when defendant, came info close by and made use }- of threatening language towards her. • • Defendant denied the charge, or having ever seen complainant at the time named.- A No evidence except that of Mrs. O’Toole " was given.
