Ross-Smith and Poulet left Rangoon at daybreak for Singapore. RossSmith expects to reach Bangkok in five hours, and is due in. Australia at £ o’clock on December 13. He expects, however, to accomplish the journey b December 10 or 11 all going well.

lieutenant Parer,, of the Royal Air Force, has entered for the Austral an flight. The Bearddiore Aero Engine Company is collaborating with Parer on the details of the machine, the construction of which has commenced.

All are well.
KANGAROO REACHES ROME.
Received December 2, 10.15 a.in. LONDON, Dec. 1. Captain. Wilkins in the Kangaroo machine reached Pisa on Saturday and Rome on Sunday afternoon. He intended to leave for Taranto to-day.
