Tim pyjamas were almost totally burnt oif Ids body. in her efforts to heat out the flames .Mrs Sherwood was badly burnt, a hunt tin* hands and after she was treated at the hospital, when* she was taken with her husband by the Civil Ambulance, she was allowed to go home.
