The matter is a serious one, ns it hot only affects the animal in a live state, bub also prevents the carcases''-from, being dressed with the finish and cleanliness which are an absolute necessity for placing them on the Home market to the best advantage, •In spite of every care, stains are bound to disfigure such carcases, and no amount df wiping down will remedy this condition ns they cannot avoid, in many cases, injuring the pelts and so incurring fines.
