PEA-RIFLE ACCIDENT.
PER TjNITF.D TMtF.RR ASSOCIATION. GISHORXE, July 20. Krcd Hansen, a settler at Motu, caryring a pea-rif!e which had been taken to pieces and wrapped in an overCoat. was dismounting from his horse and throw the parcel carrying tl ! e pearifle on to the verandah. The rifle wa* discharged,,the bullet, entering the left side of Hansen's ahdomen. Ho was brought to the hospital.
