PER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHIIROH, July 20. Tlicl launch Jean Wilson, which left Lyttelton 16 days ago, had an exciting experience. Heavy started' on. the return trip from Kaikoura with a second launch, tho Kingfeher, in tow. The gales ami the Ivingfiisher had to be cut drift. Later, when the Jean Wilson was in peril, she was sighted! by the .steamer Petone which towed her to port. ,
