'SYDNEY, July 1. A feature of the Sheer* Breeders' Association's annual show is tSie predominance ofßritish breeds, which supply 432 out of 558 entries. New Zealand is well represented in the longwool sections, but has ibeen hardly so successful as at previous exhibitions. In Romney liarsli Mr J. A. Murdoch, of Ovesniels, was first and champion'and'second for ram under 12 'months. Ho also gained first prize for a pen of three rams of the same'-age.' Mr Donald Grant (Timiaru) was- second for .ram over two years and) under two years. Mr Joseph Dowt'hwaite gained third for ©we under 12 months. In Border Leicester Mr Grant was second and Mr Dowthwaite third for. ram over two years, and Mr Grant was third' for ram under two years. Mr, Donvthvpadte was first ,and. second and Mr.Grant third for'» ewe under 12 months. Mr Dowthwaite was first and Mr Grant second! for pen of three rams under 12 months, and Mr Dowth-'v.-aite second and Mr John Nixon (Killinchy) third for pen of three ewes of the same account. Mr Dnmskill, of Yv"agga, and Mr Yelland, of Victoria, secured the 'bulk of the champions-hips in these classes. In Corrieclales Mr C. Ensor '(Rnngiora) was second with, a ram under two years and first and second with ewe undei' two years.
