I.ON'DON, July 1. The final of the Wimblodun tournament tvas played in tropical heat. Brookes' (Australia) service was particularly strong. The first two sets and 1 tho_ third .sell went with the service until Brookes led at 5 —4. Froitzheim, equalised' and -won on Brookes' service, and then went out with a love game.
