Bill, the Government would incorporate, it in the' Revenue Bill the introduction whereof bad been sanctioned. The. former will embody a nevv valuation, and 1 also grants to local authorities. It is expected that the new i>lan will make it difficult for the Lord to reject the valuation' scheme. ELECTED UNOPPOSED.' Receievd Julv 1, 11.30 a.m. LONDON, June 30. Mr Prothero has been elected unopposed for the vacancy at Oxford University caused by Rt. Hon. Sir W. R. Anson's (Unionist) death.
