Asquith (Prime Minister), in answer to a question in the House of Commons, said the Government was considering the advisableness of holding a Defence Conference with Australia and New Zealand and was now communicating with their respective Governments.
FLEET AND THE DOMINIONS. Received March 25, 11.5.5 a.m. LONDON, March 24. Hon. Winston Churchill (First Lord or' the Admiralty), in reply to a question in the House of Commons as whether proposaLs regarding the disposition: of the fleet were made after consulting the dominions, remarked, "The statement I made when introducing the Estimtes is self-explaaiatory. I have nothing to add." Mr Churchill added that he had seen the newspaper reports of Senator MiUen's (Australian Defence Minister) remarks. PSYCKTE'S RELIEF CREW. Received March 25, 11.55 a.m. LONDON. March 24. The .relief crew wof H.M.s. Psyche will sail at the end of April.
