METHODIST CONFERENCE.

PEB UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, March 9. The Methodist Conference to-day considered the suggested changes in ministerial appointments and adopted the following amendments on the first draft of stations:—Auckland (Avondale), Rev. J. Luxford; Franklin (Waiuku), Rev. Canile; Whangarei, Rev. H. Daniel ; Rotorua, Rev. H. T. Peat; New Plymouth (Whitely), Rev. A. B. Chappell; Rangitikei, Rev. J. J. Mather; Palmerston North (Ashihurst), Rev. Carr; Sanson, Rev. Keall; Foxton, Rev. Maslin; Johnsonville (Porirua), Itev. Burnet ; Blenheim/ (Tua Marina), Rev. WoolloxaE; Waikouaiti, Rev. Allen; Roxburgh, Rev. Benning; South' Auckland, Rev. J. Spence; TaranakiWanganui, Rev. Blamires; Hawke'6 Bay-Manawatu, Rev. Murray; WelMurray; Wellington, Rev. President Serpell (ex-officio); Nelson, Rev. Baumber; North Canterbury, Rev. Sinclair; South Canterbury, Rev. Joughin; Otago, Rev. Drake; Southland, Rev. W. Ready. It was reported that Mr D. Haynes had forwarded a donation of £SO to the South' Island Methodist Orphanage. The report of the Supernumerary Fund was received and adopted. During the year a Board of Management had been incorporated. The total capital of the New Zealand Fund on December 31 last was £72,952. The bal-ance-sheet was adopted and the officers and .committee of the fund received thanks for services rendered.
